Sharon Farrell, Financial Coordinator

I will be one of the first team members you will meet. Helping you schedule your appointments and answer any insurance or billing questions you may have is my primary focus. The many administrative needs around the office are also my responsibility. I have been with Dr. White and his fabulous team since 2002. I take great pride in being able to help our patients get the smile they always dreamed of.

While at home, I keep very busy with my two children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Most of my husband’s family lives in Ireland; we keep in touch with them and hope to visit them again soon. My daughter, Kaelyn and I spend quality time baking together. Kaelyn is an avid reader, and is always giving me new books to read.

 

Doris Temple, Head Dental Assistant

A few facts to help you to get to know me.  I’m married almost as long as I’ve been in dentistry.  June 1964 was when I started working and worked all through high school.  My husband is my high school sweetheart.  We were married in May of 1968.  He was in the coastguard then worked in heating and air-conditioning.  He is now a manager with US Air.  We have two children, grown and married.  Our son is in the coastguard, making it his career. His wife doesn’t mind moving every 2-3 years.  Our daughter gave us a beautiful grandson, Jaydin, in July, 2008.  Oh I could say so much about him, he’s the cutest little guy ever. 
 
I enjoy painting ceramics.  A friend and I started going many years ago, it was “girl’s night out”, and our therapy.  I’ve enjoyed giving gifts that I have painted to friends and family.  And of course they love to receive them!  I also like to garden and travel with my husband.  We made a cross country trip to New Mexico for the Albuquerque HOT AIR BALLOON festival in October of 2008.  What a sight to see, 700 balloons in the air all at the same time.
 
Working in dentistry has been very rewarding to me. To be able to give a person a new smile is such a great feeling.  I’ve been with Dr. White since 1986.  Over the years we’ve taken courses on esthetics and procedures on how to care for our patients.  What a team we have here! Dr. White has two chair side assistants with him at all times which allows your visits to go extremely well.  The expertise of our office is seen in the smiles we’ve given our patients.

 

Tammy Cherwinski, Dental Assistant

My name is Tammy, I have been working as a dental assistant with Dr. White since 2003; but I also help out in many areas of the office.

I enjoy working in dentistry and all the different areas so you might see me anywhere in the office. My beautiful, wonderful daughter, Renee, is now attending college for music education.

In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, going to the beach and out with friends. I am a good friend and a good listener, which I feel is an asset to our anxious patients. I am here to help you through difficult procedures or just answer any questions you may have.

 

Kim Tomassi, Registered Dental Hygienist

It’s hard to imagine that I have been in the “World of Dentistry” for over 25 years.  Born and raised in Binghamton, New York where I attended Hygiene school.  While still in school I worked at a dental office that would become my “home” for 14 years.  My husband and I relocated to the Philadelphia area where I was able to continue the career that I still love.  I found my other “home” here with Dr. White and for the last 11 years have continued to take care of my patients like they were my family.  Exceptional patient care above all else is what we strive to provide.  Comfortable, gentle, caring and individualized attention to each patient is my goal.  With constant continuing education and break throughs in the dental field, I feel we can find a way to take care of each and every patient. 
 
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and the never ending days of tanning!  Helping with my husbands’ business and of course taking great care of our “Best girl,” Bailey our Beagle.  I’m sure many of you have seen those pictures.  She is truly the most unconditional part of my life

 

Gloria Spitz, Registered Dental Hygienist

Gloria has spent her entire dental career – 28 years – honing her expertise with our team. One of the benefits of this commitment is the satisfaction of watching young patients grow up into happy adults with healthy teeth…then treating their children! Gloria's energy and enthusiasm don’t stop with her work. Not long ago, she started a chocolate business and a jewelry business, offshoots of her hobbies. Her family includes her husband, Bob, three sons, and twin granddaughters about whom she'd love to tell you in person.
